Bday Reminder app for iPhone and iPad

Bday Reminder (Birthday Reminder) is a simple app that lets you choose when to be reminded of a persons birthday. Just add the contacts you want, set their birthday date (if not already in the contacts information), and set how many days or weeks before their birthday you would like to receive a notification reminding you of it. It is that simple.

The reasoning behind this app, and its very narrow and specific use, is to wish a happy birthday to the people you care about most. It also allows you to have time to prepare in case you want to do something a little more special than sending a text message or making a phone call. Although something as simple as that can go a long way in making someones day better and keeping in touch with your friends. Its a lot more personal and direct than a post on their Facebook wall, which will likely be swarmed by all of the other "friends" who saw Facebooks birthday notification.
